About the film
Two drag-queens (Mitzi and Felicia) and a transgender woman (Bernadette) contract to perform a drag show at a resort in Alice Springs for Mitzi’s ex. They head west from Sydney aboard their lavender bus, Priscilla. Heads are turned in Broken Hill, Coober Pedy gets a bit rough, and a Priscilla break down is rescued by an open-minded mechanic. ‘The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert’ is peppered with the famous musical offerings of the iconic Swedish band, ABBA.
