About the film
In Queens, New York, 1980, Jewish 12-year-old Paul Graff (Banks Repeta) befriends Johnny (Jaylin Webb), a troubled Black kid who opens Paul’s eyes to a wider world. As their friendship gets them both into trouble, Paul begins to see that the world isn’t quite what he thought it was.
